Focusing on Competency-Based Education

This training session was very helpful in understanding how to develop the relation between competency-based education and learning outcomes. While teaching a topic as a teacher we have to plan for why, what, how to teach? And how to test? The learning outcomes of all the kids is not the same, so we can not use the same standards to evaluate them. So, it is always good to adopt this mode of teaching in an institution to develop life skills in kids.
Overall it is useful to me how to teach a topic in a way students can understand and use it in their day to day life.

Topic: Blooms Taxonomy
Blooms Taxonomy and its Application training were very informative. It is a useful tool for teachers in the planning process. The instructor clearly explained how it can be used to encourage higher-order thoughts in students by building up lower-level cognitive skills. The presentation was interesting and it was easy to understand the importance and benefits to plan goals for learning.
